Education Facts & Fallacies, for Teachers

So I’ve been bookmarking so many ed blogs and sites and publications, with little time to actually go through them. It’s not just about personal reading, I want to be able to have a resource on hand for the inevitable PD day when someone says something spurious. I want to be able to counter some of the gobbledygook with facts and quotes.

Today, I did that. This is not an exhaustive compilation, but what I’ve done is gone through my bookmarked stuff and made some really rudimentary notes, but frankly enough to use as “ammo”. I’ve cut and pasted some useful quotes and figures, where I felt they could benefit, but at the end there’s a full bibliography. You can do a search for any of the authors or articles if you want more depth on something.

If I’ve made errors or possibly misinterpreted something, I apologize in advance.
