Here’s something to read and think about:
We often hear about the “death of cursive writing”. Makes sense, right? You all use keyboards and touch pads, tablets and smartphones… hardly anything gets written out any more. Also, it’s been decades since anyone monitored or evaluated penmanship in elementary school (yes, kids, as a pupil, I was marked on the quality of my writing, and held to a standard on how I formed my letters). In fact, many school boards across North America are dropping cursive instruction altogether?
But, what if writing cursive helped you think, retain knowledge, and learn?
Consider this article, then…. let’s not dismiss cursive outright!
